9th Annual Funnel Cake Eating Contest

Participate in the 9th Annual Riverfest Funnel Cake Eating Contest for your chance to earn bragging rights and a prize courtesy of The Big Talker 1480 KQAM and 102.5 FM, and Sports Radio KGSO 1410 and 939. FM. Listen for chances to sign up on-air starting May 31. Any remaining open spots will be filled on-site starting at 2:30 p.m. Contestants will have ten minutes to eat as many funnel cakes as they can! Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

One of the original events from the very first festival has returned! Entry is free, but teams must supply their own canoe, paddles and flotation devices.

Build a river-worthy vessel in 90 minutes or less with cardboard, duct tape, pool noodles and a box cutter. No team size limit, but at least one team member (ages 12 or older) must ride in the vessel. Awards will be presented for fastest time, best design and most spectacular sinking. $20 per team.

Teams and spectators alike are sure to have fun in this fast-paced, high-energy game. Teams of 15 players will compete in this 3rd Annual Riverfest Kickball Tournament. $150 fee per team.
