I Choose Wichita

Come celebrate the stories of Wichita’s biggest contributors, and why they said, “I Choose Wichita.” And join in!

Maybe you’re a graduate stepping into college or a career, and choosing to do so in Wichita, or have chosen Wichita for another reason, we want to recognize you. Hosted by Wichita Mayor Lily Wu, this event gives graduates, young professionals, and others in the community a never-done-before chance to participate. Sign a brand new “I Choose Wichita” Keeper statue and collect a commemorative Mayor’s Coin.

Schedule

• 2 – 4 PM – Keeper signing
• 3 PM – Main program and guest speakers

Find us at the intersection of Main Street and William Street (outside of the Sedgwick County Historical Museum).

Limit 1,000 participants (high school graduates and above) for the signing and commemorative coins. Riverfest button not required.
