Riverfest Fishing Derby

This is a partnership with Kansas Wildlife and Parks. Riverfest attendees with a button will get to fish on the east side of the river, between Douglas and Lewis Street bridges.

Plus, Kansas Wildlife and Parks will be stocking the river! There are prizes for various catches like the biggest fish, most unique, and more. You don’t need to bring anything – all the fishing equipment is provided. Kansas Wildlife and Parks will teach you how to use all the provided fishing gear. You can bring your fishing equipment if you’d like.
