November 21, 2019, WICHITA, Kan. – New officers have been announced for Wichita Festivals, Inc., a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that enhances Wichita’s quality of life through large-scale events, including Riverfest and Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair. 

Kim Gattis of UMB Bank will chair the organization’s board for the 2019-2020 board year. Chair-Elect is Shane Stuhlsatz, Fidelity Bank. The board secretary is Jeff McCausland, KWCH-TV. Lisa Binau of Dunning & Associates is the organization’s treasurer. Ty Patton, McCurdy Auction, LLC, remains an officer as the board’s immediate past chair.

Also serving as board members-at-large are Rigby Carey of Carey, Thomas, Hoover and Breault; Zach Fugate, Canvas Wealth Advisors; D.J. Fulton, Grene Vision Group; Teketa Harding, Capitol Federal Savings Bank; Deb Haifleigh, Law Office of David Lund; Shaun Isham, Isham Builders, Inc.; Tom Johnson, NAI Martens; Chris Ladwig, Spirit AeroSystems; Tim Norton, Kansas Aviation Museum; Ron Ryan, retired; Denise Sherman, The Kansas African-American Museum; Joe Surmeier, Professional Engineering Consultants; and Van Williams, Sedgwick County.

The officers were elected at the Wichita Festivals, Inc. annual meeting on Oct. 29. Retiring from the Wichita Festivals board were Gary Austerman, Klenda Austerman LLC; independent accountant Alysha Besperat, CPA; and Barry Schwan, House of Schwan.

Wichita Festivals, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of creating diverse community celebrations within the Wichita community. The primary events produced by Wichita Festivals, Inc. are Riverfest (May 29- June 6, 2020), Bob Struble Memorial Golf Tournament (September 11, 2020) and Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair (September 18-20, 2020).
